DAVID W.
JEFFERSON, 63, is the
managing general partner of Calplans Partners and President and Chief
Executive Officer of Burdell Properties, which he joined in September
1973. Mr. Jefferson is responsible for the general management for
all corporate, vineyard and real estate investment entities. He
received an A.B. degree in Economics from Stanford University in 1965,
and an M.B.A. degree, emphasizing finance, from Stanford Graduate School
of Business in 1967. Mr. Jefferson is a licensed real estate
broker in the state of California, and has been a licensed financial
principal with the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. He
has served as a Director of the Bay Planning Coalition since 1983 and is
past Chairman; Director and past President of the Marin Property Owners
Association since 1983; Director and Vice Chairman of the McClellan
Federal Credit Union from 1968-1987; and Director of the Marin JCC from
1995-1998.
JOHN G. RAUCK, 58, is a partner of Calplans Partners, Vice President and General
Manager of the Vineyard Division of Burdell Properties (which he joined
in June 1983), and President of Saviche, Inc. (Saviche, Inc. is
wholly-owned by Mr. Rauck and two other officers of Burdell Properties;
this corporation is responsible for the day-to-day management of the
four Calplans vineyards located in Sonoma County, California.) He
is also a past President of the Sonoma County Grape Growers Association.
Mr. Rauck has primary responsibility for financial management of
all affiliated vineyard entities. Prior to joining Burdell, he was
associated with the firm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells of San
Francisco and subsequently with Sugarman and Company as a Senior
Accountant. Mr. Rauck is a Certified Public Accountant, received a
B.A. degree from Eckerd College in Florida and completed the course work
for the University of California Berkeley's M.B.A. program in 1979.
DONALD G. GROTH, 59, is Vice President/Chief Investment Officer
of Burdell Properties (which he joined in June 1987) and Chairman of the
Board of Saviche, Inc. Mr. Groth has primary responsibility for
financial management of all affiliated real estate entities, Chiles
Valley Vineyard (Napa County) and is Chief Financial Officer of White Oak
Vineyards & Winery. He serves as a Director of Groth Vineyards
& Winery (owned by his
brother). Prior to joining Burdell, he was an audit manager with
Deloitte, Haskins & Sells of San Francisco. Mr. Groth received
his AB and M.B.A. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley
in 1970 and 1979, respectively. He is a Certified Public
Accountant and a member of the California Society and the American
Institute of Certified Public Accounts.
JOANNE BANKE-CLARK, 53, is Director of Administration and Vice
President/Secretary of Burdell Properties (which she joined in January
1979) and Vice President/Secretary of Saviche, Inc. Ms. Banke-Clark
is responsible for corporate administration, investor services, due
diligence and compliance of Burdell's securities offerings. She
has been a licensed direct participation program principal with the National
Association of Securities Dealers, Inc., and is a member of the
International Association of Administrative Professionals. Joanne
also shows dogs competitively and you will see Cagney, her champion pug,
in her office most days.
